Who We Are
MediWatch UK (mediwatch.co.uk) provides free medicine shortage alerts for UK patients. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Information We Collect
Email Alerts
If you sign up for shortage alerts, we collect your email address and the medicines you choose to track. This information is used solely to send you relevant shortage notifications.
Website Analytics
We use analytics to understand how visitors find and use MediWatch. This can include Google Analytics, first-party site analytics, and Microsoft Clarity if a MediWatch Clarity project is enabled. We do not intentionally send email addresses, medicines you track, payment details, account tokens, or other alert-account data to analytics providers.
Analytics Storage
First-party analytics may store a pseudonymous visitor ID and session ID in browser storage so we can measure traffic sources, page views, scroll depth, CTA clicks, form submissions, outbound clicks, and conversion events. We do not use advertising cookies.
